I cut the fabric the exact size as the pillow listed. The finished pillow will
be 1"-1.5" smaller than the size listed. Example: A 22" pillow will be about 20.5"-21" finished. This makes the pillow look fuller once the insert is in.
I go up a size or two for the pillow insert based on the cut pillow size not
the finished size. We recommend going up 1-2 sizes for the inserts and
also recommend using a down pillow insert both.
Both the fabric and pillow cover are entirely made by hand and may have slight variations or imperfections. We believe this is a result of the textiles special history and adds to the uniqueness and authenticity of the piece.
*Dry clean or spot clean only*
When putting your insert in, fold it in half like a taco and carefully fill your cover. Doing it this way will help create less stress to the zipper ends. Once you get the insert in, make sure all of the corners of your pillow are filled.
I go through an extensive process with each textile I use to make sure the pillows are free of holes and major imperfections. With that said, due to the age and handmade and handwoven nature of these textiles, some minor imperfections in the fabric are to be expected. These small blemishes and imperfections are not considered to be defects.
